It’s currently at a pc repair shop. I’ll update the thread when I know what the issue is and can fix it. I’d like this thread to actually get an answer since every other thread covering this topic that I’ve read here has never had any conclusive answer and they all just get closed.- BodilyFunctions

Yes you are correct, the x299 does not have its own internal gpu. Also hdmi is the only port both my computer and my monitor will connect to.
