    Sorry, been busy and after trying everything possible turns out the mentioned hdd was broken so there is nothing to be done to it but return it to the manufacturer and now I am waiting for the replacement.

    4tb hdd drive problem win7

    So not sure is this due to Win7 but for some reason my brand new 4tb wd red hdd isn't recognized by the system and wont even boot, all I get is a black screen with a white underscore flashing and that is it. When I turn it off and unplug the hdd and turn it back on it boots in just fine. Also it...
