Solved PC turns solid color & crashes outside of Safe Mode

Had a friend stop by with their GPU and let me test it out on my PC, everything worked fine with theirs installed including GPU drivers. No crashes or freezing, no matter which monitor or cable I used. Tested it with mine again, still the same issues persisting. My only choice now is to have my...

My GPU is the founders edition version of the RTX 2070 Super. Bought it directly from Best Buy in December 2019. Here is the report log I found

Solved PC turns solid color & crashes outside of Safe Mode

I ran the repair on a clean boot. I don't know where to get any sort of report log that would detail anything, but nothing really seemed to be wrong? I just let the program run the repair after doing the precautionary steps and it booted back to my desktop.

Solved PC turns solid color & crashes outside of Safe Mode

I didn't see it, my apologies. Didn't refresh the page before posting my response. The computer is running fine, always was as long as no GPU drivers are installed. There was some lag in Safe mode, though. Attempting to use the start menu would result in delays in it showing up, and the area of...

Solved PC turns solid color & crashes outside of Safe Mode

I did exactly as instructed and when I attempt to use the "AsusSetup" application included in the Chipset zip file, the program wants to know if I want to repair or uninstall it, so that tells me it was installed correctly right?

Got it. The Chipset drivers are installed. I'll attach a second version of my DriverView results.

Trying to do so, currently attempting to fix an error message "Windows Installer Service could not be accessed" error message that the Chipset files are giving me.

Solved PC turns solid color & crashes outside of Safe Mode

Went to 1903 after creating a restore point. The system is stable as long as no NVIDIA driver is installed. No matter which version I'm on the problem has been there. Install GPU driver, attempt to use any web browser or even open up a window in settings, and the PC crashes. Sometimes it'll...

Solved PC turns solid color & crashes outside of Safe Mode

Yeah, I can go back to the Fall Creators update still, version 1709. I did the rollback to 1703 first yesterday, but when attempting to update my GPU the executable doesn't recognize it and states that it isn't supported on that version of Windows. It was then that I went to the updated...

Solved PC turns solid color & crashes outside of Safe Mode

Did a clean install to 1909. Latest NVIDIA drivers for a 2070 Super causes the screen to freeze and turn a solid color. When I sit at the desktop I do not get the screen to crash until I open a web browser. DDU'd that driver and tried the previous GPU drivers. Same issue. When I boot into low...

Solved PC turns solid color & crashes outside of Safe Mode

I was able to roll my PC back to 1703, as I went from that build to the latest, it did not give me an option to select a specific build. I can load to my desktop fine with the 1024x768 default resolution with no errors.

Thank you for your speedy responses. I really do appreciate your time. When I'm off work today after 4PM EST I'm going to rollback the update and update the thread afterwards.
